Simple XIII th century dress. loosely fitting, with cut similar to male cotte of this time. Cut of two rectangular parts widened with triangular wedges. Long sleeve with wedge under armpit. Semicircular neckline with cut in front – often closed with fibule. Often worn under surcote. Made of linen.
