A robe was a representative outer garment characteristic of the late Middle Ages. This model is fitted through the upper body and widens towards the hem, allowing greater freedom of movement.
The robe is made from wool and lined with linen. It features a collar, fastens at the front with up to 18 buttons, and has 7 buttons on each sleeve.
In the standard version, the buttons are spaced with a gap at waist level to accommodate a belt. The fastening can also be made with buttons sewn in pairs at regular intervals, following period iconography. If you prefer this version, please mention it in the order comments.
Pewter or fabric-covered buttons are included as standard. Machine-sewn, with buttonholes finished by hand.
