Doublet was one of medieval undergarments, known since beginning of XIV th century. It was used mainly for lacing hose. Cut of eight parts plus sleeves with simple standup collar. It is close fitted. In standard laced with single woolen lace. Sleeve is buttoned with two pewter buttons.
Made of wool with linen lining and cotton or linen stenghtening layer made of thick fabric (in order to give shape and strenghten the garment). As an additional option it's possible to quilt the chest with wadding in oder to give underline the shape of the chest. Tied up.
