Reconstruction of this outer gambeson waz based on depictions from Maciejowski's Bible. Main task of medieval outer gambesons was not only protection. They were used as decoration and for heraldic purposes. It was cut of two main parts plus sleeves. All edges of the gambeson vere decorated with long fringes.

Offered gambeson was made of thick woolen fabric thick linen interliner and linen lining.
