Underwear has been a staple of women's and men's clothing since ancient times. Medieval shirts made by us are based on commonly known shirt patterns, the shape of which changed slightly throughout the Middle Ages.
Depending on the period, they were more or less fitted and differed slightly in details, such as the form of the neckline, etc.

This model of a medieval shirt has a semi-circular, deep neck. This type of shirts can be found, for example, in Lutrell's Psalter.
