Hoods were very popular during the whole Middle Ages period. Worn by every class. Primarily made from wool, sometimes with linen lining. Hoods gave excellent protection against weather as well as they fullfilled  decorative role.


Made of wool with linen lining. This type has short cut ruff. It is tight ftting to the face. This model is based upon well known Maciejowski's Bible.
