Medieval accessories are objects that accompanied people in everyday life – spoons, spools, combs, knives, gloves, and keys. Although inconspicuous, they played an important role in everyday life and often served as a sign of social status. They were made of wood, bone, horn, iron, bronze, or tin, and for wealthier individuals, also of silver, and were adorned with intricate ornamentation.
Each of these items was not only practical but also aesthetically refined – spoons were decorated with engravings, spools were precisely turned, and gloves were sewn from delicate leather, often embroidered. These accessories complemented clothing and everyday equipment, showcasing the skill of ancient craftsmen.
In our store, you will find faithful recreations of medieval accessories that are perfect as part of a historical reenactment, a decorative element in a collection, or a functional addition to events and reenactments.
